My name is Sofie.
I live in Belgium. I’ am 31 years old. I speak dutch, English and also basic French. I am working as a social assistent in a refugee camp for the Red Cross. Before I worked as a teacher. It was in a school for adults who were learning the Dutch language.

I came to Senegal in januari 2023 and enjoy myself there. So I am planning to come back for two weeks during the month may 2023. I will take a vacation during this time, but I aslo want to look for work or voluntary jobs because I’m planning to stay in Senegal during the months September 2023 until december 2023.

During this time I want to do something and keep myself busy. Thats why I’m looking for some work or volunteer work.

I know people I can live with. They are staying in Dakar. So I am looking for something I can do there during this time. It would be perfect if it’s something inside of Dakar or close to Dakar.

I like to work in a school, help children, work with people.
I know my French and English are not perfect, but I’m not afraid to speak and practice. So I thing during my time there, my language will become better. If it is necessary I can take a cours before I come there.

I came across your school. So I want to ask you if I can mean something for your school during the time I stay in Dakar.
